Job Description – Quality Engineer (Civil)

Experience: Minimum 8-12 years in Industrial Construction Projects

Location: Chakan,Pune

Job Responsibilities: Ensure quality standards are maintained in all civil construction activities, including RCC, structural steel, and finishing works.

Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct inspections, material testing, and audits to ensure construction quality meets design requirements. Review and approve construction materials, mix designs, and workmanship as per project standards.

Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and third-party inspectors to address quality related issues. Maintain documentation of test reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to quality control. Conduct root cause analysis for quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Train site teams on quality control procedures and best practices in construction. Support project handover processes, ensuring all quality documentation is completed.

Key Requirements: Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:



Minimum 8-12 years in quality assurance/quality control for industrial projects (manufacturing plants, refineries, power plants, etc.).

Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of QA/QC standards (IS codes, ASTM, BS, etc.). Experience in concrete technology, material testing, and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing). Familiarity with construction quality standards and inspection procedures. Proficiency in documentation and reporting.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

Detail-oriented and proactive approach to quality management.

Preferred Candidates: Experience in PMC(Project Management Consultancy)projects.

Certifications in QA/QC or ISO standards are an advantage. Knowledge of advanced testing techniques and industry best practices.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
