Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

- Teach Computer Science, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence to students of Classes VI to X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Develop students' coding, computational thinking, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer laboratory and ensure effective use of technology.
- Integrate AI tools and emerging technologies into classroom teaching where appropriate.
- Prepare question papers, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain assessment records.

Classroom Management

- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom setting.
- Encourage collaborative learning and project-based activities.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide timely feedback to parents and school authorities.

Laboratory Management

- Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of computer lab equipment.
- Report hardware, software, and network issues to the concerned department.
- Maintain inventory and records of lab resources.
- Co-curricular Responsibilities
- Organize coding competitions, AI exhibitions, IT clubs, cyber safety awareness programmes, and technology-related events.
- Guide students in innovation, robotics, coding, and digital projects.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain attendance, academic records, and student portfolios.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings,



school events, and CBSE-related activities.
- Perform examination duties and other responsibilities assigned by the school administration.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Python, Scratch, HTML/CSS, databases, networking fundamentals, and cybersecurity basics.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and educational technology tools.
- Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Applications or an equivalent qualification.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution (preferred as per school/CBSE norms).
- Relevant certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Coding, or Educational Technology will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or equivalent school is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply.
