Job Summary

PSR Thangamaligai Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead all human resource functions across our retail operations. The ideal candidate should have 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably in the Jewellery or Textile Retail Industry, with expertise in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.

The HR Manager will play a key role in building a high-performing workforce, strengthening company culture, and supporting the organization's growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Onboarding

- Lead end-to-end recruitment for showroom, corporate office, and support functions.
- Develop hiring strategies to attract high-quality retail talent.
- Coordinate interviews, salary negotiations, and candidate selection.
- Conduct structured induction and onboarding programs for new employees.

Employee Relations

- Foster a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters fairly and confidentially.
- Build strong employee engagement initiatives to improve retention and morale.
- Promote company values, teamwork, and a customer-first culture.

Performance Management

- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
- Work closely with department heads to set KPIs and evaluate employee performance.
- Identify high-potential employees and succession planning opportunities.
- Support managers with coaching and performance improvement plans.

Training & Development

- Identify training needs across departments.
- Organize product knowledge, sales, customer service, and leadership training programs.
- Monitor training effectiveness and employee skill development.

HR Operations & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain employee records,



attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the accounts/payroll team.
- Develop and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.

Organizational Development

- Support organizational growth through workforce planning.
- Improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA/MSW/PG Diploma in Human Resource Management is preferred.
- 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably in the Jewellery or Textile Retail Industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience handling recruitment for retail sales and operational roles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HRMS software and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in Tamil and English.
