About the Role

We are looking for a creative and fast-paced Social Media Video Editor to create engaging short-form and long-form video content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media trends, storytelling, and editing techniques that drive engagement and audience growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Create attention-grabbing hooks, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and sound design.
- Add subtitles, animations, B-roll, and visual effects to improve viewer retention.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form videos.
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and design teams to execute content strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Meet deadlines while managing multiple editing projects.

Required Skills

- 1–3+ years of experience in video editing for social media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
- Strong understanding of pacing,



storytelling, color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of platform-specific video formats and best practices.
- Experience creating viral or high-engagement content is preferred.
- Basic understanding of AI-powered editing tools is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Media, Mass Communication, Design, Film, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media video edits.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with influencers, creators, or digital marketing agencies.
- Knowledge of content strategy and analytics.
- Familiarity with AI tools like Adobe Firefly, Runway, Descript, or CapCut.
