Job Description

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable web applications using PHP and up-to-date frameworks like Laravel or Symfony. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with a strong background in web application development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable web applications. Experience in CakePHP will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- - Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP

- - Work on backend logic, database design, and application optimization

- - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services

- - Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications

- - Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and business teams

- - Troubleshoot, debug,



and optimize existing code

- - Follow coding standards, best practices, and documentation processes

- - Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

Requirements

- - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

- - 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development

- - Strong knowledge of Core PHP, OOP concepts, MVC architecture

- - Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL database design and optimization

- - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

- - Experience with REST APIs and JSON/XML

- - Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

- - Experience working in Linux/Apache/Nginx environments

Key Skills

- - Hands-on experience with CakePHP framework

- - Exposure to other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter

- - Knowledge of basic front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, etc.)

- - Experience with payment gateway and third-party API integrations
