Job Summary

Sieger Spintech Equipments Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Gantry VMC Operator to operate large-format Gantry Vertical Machining Centers for precision machining of heavy fabricated components. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine operation, job setting, tool handling, and maintaining dimensional accuracy while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate Gantry VMC machines to manufacture heavy and precision-engineered components.
- Perform machine setup, workpiece clamping, and alignment as per engineering drawings.
- Load and execute CNC programs after verification.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary offset adjustments.
- Select and replace cutting tools as required to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish according to drawing specifications.
- Ensure proper coolant levels, lubrication, and daily machine maintenance.
- Report machine abnormalities, tool breakages, and quality issues to the supervisor.
- Follow production schedules to achieve daily output targets.




- Maintain proper documentation related to production and inspection.
- Adhere to all company safety, quality, and 5S standards.

Required Skills

- Experience in operating Gantry VMC/CNC machining centers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of machining parameters, cutting tools, and tool offsets.
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Heidenhain CNC controls.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of machining processes for fabricated steel and heavy engineering components.
- Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in rotational shifts.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in machining large fabricated structures and heavy machine components.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and TPM activities.
- Exposure to ISO quality systems and 5S practices.
