The Grinder Operator is responsible for operating grinding machines to smooth, finish, deburr, and shape metal components according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards while maintaining workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate handheld and bench grinding machines safely and efficiently.
- Remove burrs, excess welds, rust, and sharp edges from metal parts.
- Perform surface finishing and polishing of fabricated components.
- Read basic engineering drawings and job instructions.
- Measure finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, scale, etc.).
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Replace grinding wheels and accessories when required.
- Maintain machines and tools in good working condition.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily targets.




- Keep the work area clean and organized (5S).
- Follow all company safety rules and wear required PPE.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of grinding and finishing techniques.
- Ability to use angle grinders, bench grinders, and polishing tools.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a production environment.
- Attention to detail and quality.

Qualification

- Minimum: 8th Pass / 10th Pass.
- ITI (Fitter/Welder/Turner) preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
