Job Title: Electrician

Job Responsibilities:

- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment across the plant.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair motors, control panels, MCCs, PCCs, transformers and electrical wiring.
- Maintain electrical systems of induction furnaces, rolling mills, cranes, compressors, pumps and other plant machinery.
- Diagnose electrical faults and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical panels, cables, switchgear and lighting systems.
- Monitor and maintain VFDs, PLC panels, sensors and instrumentation (basic troubleshooting).
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety of all equipment.
- Maintain DG sets, UPS systems and power distribution systems.
- Replace defective electrical components such as contactors, relays, MCBs, ACBs, fuses and circuit breakers.
- Record maintenance activities, breakdown reports and spare parts consumption.
- Coordinate with the Mechanical and Production departments during maintenance activities.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and shutdown maintenance plans.
- Maintain housekeeping in electrical rooms and work areas.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards,



PPE requirements and company safety procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and power distribution.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and control circuits.
- Experience in troubleshooting industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of motors, VFDs, PLCs, switchgear and control panels.
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing instruments such as multimeter, megger and clamp meter.
- Positive problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualification:

- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical Wireman/Supervisor License (if applicable).

Experience:

- 2–10 years of experience in a steel plant or other manufacturing industry preferred.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in induction furnaces, rolling mills, EOT cranes, compressors and heavy industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and industrial safety practices.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
