About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Programming / Technical Management Consultant to support the PM USHA Mission at the State Project Directorate (SPD), Department of Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh. The role involves designing and implementing IT strategies and infrastructure, managing databases and front-end systems, and strengthening technology use across the department to support higher education initiatives statewide.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert knowledge on computerized database platforms and front-end technologies.
- Design and implement IT strategies and infrastructure aligned with departmental goals.
- Identify and mitigate security risks across systems and platforms.
- Support the department's digital initiatives and technology-driven governance processes.
- Collaborate with State/Central/PSU institutions and IT partners as required.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, presentations, and proposals as needed.
- Undertake any other technical assignments as required by the PM USHA Mission.

Pre-Qualification Checklist

Before applying, please confirm you meet all of the following:

- Graduate / Postgraduate degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Computer Applications
- Minimum 5 years of IT work experience
- Hands-on experience with database platforms (e.g., SQL/MongoDB/Oracle etc.)
- Working knowledge of front-end technologies/languages
- Experience in IT strategy, infrastructure design,



or security risk management
- Prior experience with State / Central / PSU institutions or IT companies (preferred, not mandatory)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Valuable communication skills in English & Hindi

Candidates not meeting the education and minimum experience criteria will not be considered.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science / Engineering discipline / Computer Applications.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience, including:

- Knowledge of computerized database platforms and front-end languages.
- Experience designing and implementing IT strategies and infrastructure.
- Experience managing or mitigating security risks.
- Prior work experience with State / Central / PSU institutions or IT companies is preferred.

Skills Required:

- Strong hands-on experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
