Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Editor with 4+ years of experience in Digital News or Media. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in visual storytelling, image editing, graphic design, and digital content creation. The candidate must be able to create compelling visuals that enhance news stories across websites, social media, and mobile platforms while working in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design high-quality news cards, banners, thumbnails, and feature graphics.
- Edit and enhance images for news articles and digital platforms.
- Create visually engaging graphics for breaking news and special reports.
- Collaborate with reporters, producers, and content teams to deliver impactful visual storytelling.
- Ensure all visuals comply with editorial standards, copyright, and brand guidelines.
- Produce creatives for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
- Maintain consistency in design, typography, and branding across all digital platforms.
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines in a 24/7 newsroom environment.
- Stay updated with current design trends, AI tools, and digital media innovations.





Required Skills

- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, typography, layout, and colour theory.
- Experience in creating social media creatives and digital news graphics.
- Knowledge of AI-powered design tools is an added advantage.
- Solid attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Fine Arts, Journalism, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

- Minimum 4 years of experience in a News Channel, Digital Media, Publishing House, or Online News Portal.
- Experience in Tamil and English news media is preferred.
- Knowledge of digital publishing workflows and CMS platforms will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
