We are seeking a passionate and research-oriented Assistant Professor – Biomedical Engineering to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful research, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development and departmental activities. The candidate should demonstrate strong academic credentials, research aptitude, and a commitment to innovation in biomedical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biomedical Engineering.

- Develop and update course content in line with industry and academic standards.

- Guide student projects, internships, and research activities.

- Conduct high-quality research and publish in reputed peer-reviewed journals.

- Apply for and execute funded research projects.

- Participate in accreditation, curriculum development, and academic administration.

- Mentor students for academic and career development.

- Collaborate with industry and research organizations for academic and research initiatives.

- Contribute to departmental events, workshops, seminars, and outreach activities.





Required Qualifications

- B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering

- M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering

- PhD in Biomedical Engineering

Mandatory Requirement

The candidate must have completed at least one of the above qualifications (B.Tech, M.Tech, or PhD) from an Institute of National Importance (INI) or a recognized international university.

Preferred Skills

- Strong subject knowledge in Biomedical Engineering.

- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.

- Proven research and publication record.

- Experience in curriculum development and outcome-based education (OBE).

- Familiarity with AICTE/UGC/NBA/NAAC academic standards.

- Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to secure research grants and establish industry collaborations.

Experience

- As per UGC/AICTE norms for the position of Assistant Professor.

- Prior teaching and research experience in higher education institutions will be preferred.
