Job Summary:

The Duty Manager oversees front office operations to ensure a seamless guest experience, productive check-in/check-out processes, and excellent customer service. This role acts as the manager on duty in the absence of senior leadership and is responsible for resolving guest concerns, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the front desk and lobby areas.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise front office staff including receptionists, concierge, bell desk, and night auditors.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure check-in/check-out procedures run smoothly.
- Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor room availability, rates, and reservations; coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance.
- Maintain high visibility in the lobby area to greet and assist guests.
- Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and cash handling procedures.
- Assist in training and mentoring front office employees.
- Prepare daily reports for management, including occupancy, guest feedback, and incidents.




- Conduct room inspections and liaise with other departments to ensure guest readiness.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a front office or supervisory hotel role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, IDS, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
