Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental examinations on patients to evaluate oral health and identify dental issues.
- Provide diagnosis and treatment for various dental conditions, including but not limited to cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay.
- Administer local anesthesia to patients as necessary prior to dental procedures.
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and teeth cleanings with precision and efficiency.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care strategies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs and preferences.
- Collaborate closely with other dental professionals, including dental assistants and hygienists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments,
progress, and medical histories.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continued education and professional development activities.
- Adhere to ethical standards and regulations governing dental practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree from a recognized dental school.
- Valid license to practice dentistry in the state of Tamil Nadu.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience working as a General Dentist in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and treating various dental conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Dedication to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Proficiency in using dental software for patient records and treatment planning.
