- Strong hands-on experience in 3D modelling and 2D drafting/detailing of mechanical components and assemblies using Advance CREO. Preferred version 8.0 or 9.0.
- Ability to understand requirements, perform basic design calculations, create design concepts / packaging layouts.
- To execute project efficiently and maintaining quality.
- Provide solutions to design related problems proactively.
- Use various problem-solving techniques to analyze the problems and in finding out solutions.
- Participate in internal meetings, suggest solutions to resolve design related problems
- Handle technical changes and recent releases in PLM systems (Wind-chill or similar)
- Create internal process documents for the new processes based on the requirements
- Collaborate with others to meet timelines as well as solve problems
- Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience Range: 2 to 5 Years.
- Qualification:
B.E/BTech Mechanical or Associated Branches.
- Must Have - Creo Advanced part modelling (casting best practices, Blends, swept blends, shrink-wraps, merge inheritance, draft creation and analysis skills), Family table, Relations, parameters.
- Windchill PLM (Change management, part structure management, CAD part associations)
- Basic understanding of GD&T; (ASME Y 14.5M all 14 symbols and their applications rules of GD&T;
- Knowledge of Stack up (DVAs)
- User level knowledge of casting processes (types, applications, and design considerations)
- Good to Have - Knowledge of engines and its peripherals.
- Knowledge of turbos, types, and their applications.
- Communication Skills (Written and verbal both)

- Interpersonal skills (to interact with stakeholders and cross functional teams etc.)
