The HVAC Modeler using REVIT - will be responsible for creating, developing and coordinating detailed 3D HVAC models using BIM software for commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing clash-free models, construction drawings and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables are completed accurately and within timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain HVAC BIM models based on design drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare detailed ductwork, piping and equipment layouts in accordance with project standards.
- Create fabrication and installation drawings from BIM models.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines.
- Generate shop drawings, schedules, sections and material quantities.
- Update models based on design revisions and client comments.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes and company BIM standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of models.
- Support engineers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Certification or training in BIM software is preferred.
- 6 + years of experience in HVAC modeling and BIM projects.
