Job Description

We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Architect / Specialist to design, implement, and optimize Microsoft Fabric solutions for data integration, governance, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric components, data engineering, governance, and performance tuning to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective deployments.

Key Responsibilities

- Optimize compute and storage costs for Microsoft Fabric workloads.
- Monitor data pipelines, Power BI DirectQuery performance, and Synapse workloads to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and fine-tune DAX, SQL, and KQL queries for optimal performance.
- Architect and implement data lakehouses, warehouses, and real-time analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices for Microsoft Fabric deployments.
- Integrate Microsoft Fabric with Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, and third-party tools to enable advanced analytics.
- Define and implement data governance policies using Microsoft Purview and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to drive adoption and best practices across teams.

- Architecture & Design
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions for data integration, governance, and analytics.
- Architect scalable data lakehouses, warehouses, and real-time analytics solutions.
- Optimize data models, Direct Lake, and Real-Time Analytics for cost and performance.

- Data Engineering & Integration
- Work with Synapse Data Warehouses, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse concepts within Microsoft Fabric.
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Factory, Dataflows, and Pipelines.
- Integrate Microsoft Fabric with Power BI, Azure ML, and external tools.

- Governance, Security & Compliance
- Define data governance policies using Microsoft Purview.
- Implement RBAC and enforce security best practices.

- Performance Optimization & Monitoring
- Monitor pipelines, DirectQuery, and workloads for performance.
- Troubleshoot and tune DAX, SQL, and KQL queries for efficiency.

Desirable Skills

- Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, business users, and IT teams.
- Guide organizations on Fabric adoption, best practices, and migration from existing Azure Data & Analytics platforms.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enable teams on Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
