We are seeking a highly motivated Equity Research Analyst to cover the fast-growing banking and financial services sector in India. In this role, you will analyze market trends, build complex financial models, and provide actionable investment insights to our portfolio managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep-dive fundamental research on mid and large-cap banking stocks.
- Build, update, and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks (DCF, Relative Valuation).
- Draft comprehensive initiation reports, quarterly earnings updates, and thematic sector pieces.
- Interact regularly with company management, industry experts, and buy-side clients to gather actionable intelligence.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Finance or CA/CFA designation.
- 3-5 years of experience in equity research, preferably covering the BFSI sector.
- Exceptional analytical skills and solid proficiency in advanced Excel.
