Job Description: Senior Highway Design Engineer

Position: Senior Highway Design Engineer
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in Highway Design
Qualification: M.Tech in Highway Engineering / Transportation Engineering

Key Responsibilities

- Design and planning of highways, roads, and transportation infrastructure projects.
- Preparation and review of highway geometric design drawings, alignments, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Perform corridor modeling, road design, and quantity estimation.
- Coordinate with survey, drainage, pavement, and structural teams for integrated project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with IRC, MoRTH, and relevant international design standards.
- Preparation of design reports, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Review design outputs and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and CAD teams.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project coordination activities.
- Support timely delivery of projects with quality and accuracy.





Required Skills & Software Knowledge

- Strong experience in highway and roadway design projects.
- Proficiency in:
- MX Road
- OpenRoads Designer
- AutoCAD
- Knowledge of highway geometric design standards and road safety principles.
- Familiarity with IRC and MoRTH guidelines.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in highway engineering projects.
- Experience in national highways, expressways, and infrastructure projects preferred.
- Ability to independently handle highway design assignments and multidisciplinary coordination.
