We are seeking a detail oriented Senior Accountant to manage day to day accounting, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Tally 9 and MS Office, with strong hands-on experience in GST, TDS, PF and banking processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and raise invoices; generate and manage e-way bills.
- Maintain and reconcile bank statements and cash records.
- Calculate TDS, prepare TDS returns and perform TDS reconciliation.
- File monthly/quarterly GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
- Handle PF filings and related statutory compliance (ESI, PT where applicable).
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally 9; post journals, ledgers and trial balances.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts; resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit activities.
- Prepare periodic management reports and MIS using MS Excel/Office.
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (CA Inter or equivalent preferred).
- 3–6 years’ experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
- Expert proficiency in Tally 9.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
- Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, PF rules and filing procedures.
- Robust analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines.
- Prior exposure to audit processes and tax assessments.
