ERI is seeking a mid-career Tactical Intelligence Analyst to be embedded with one of our multinational technology sector clients. This position will serve as a central node in a global network of intelligence analysts designed to anticipate, assess, and respond to any threat to our client’s people, assets, operations or reputation.

The ideal candidate brings a can-do, forward-looking attitude, impeccable judgment, experience with enterprise level intelligence programs responding to tactical security threats and analytical rigor to support the company’s mission, business continuity, and strategic decision-making worldwide.

This is a Weekend Coverage position and candidate will work Weekends as part of their regular schedule. It is based in Hyderabad, India and is fully onsite in office.

This is NOT a cyber security or technical role.

Role and Responsibilities

The Tactical Intelligence Analyst will deliver timely, actionable intelligence to support real-time decision-making. This individual will focus on monitoring, triaging, and rapidly assessing emerging threats, producing concise tactical outputs, and supporting quality control of team reporting, providing real time weekend coverage for the client. The ideal candidate brings strong OSINT capability, sound analytical judgment under time pressure, and experience operating in a fast-paced, operational intelligence environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Serve as a mid-career tactical intelligence analyst supporting continuous monitoring and rapid response to global security, geopolitical, and operational risks impacting company personnel, assets, and operations.
- Monitor open-source and proprietary intelligence streams (e.g., media, social media, government alerts, local reporting) to identify, triage, and escalate time-sensitive incidents and emerging threats.
- Produce timely,



concise, and actionable intelligence outputs including alerts, incident updates, and short-form assessments for operational stakeholders.
- Support real-time incident response by providing situational awareness, context, and immediate risk implications to internal teams and leadership.
- Conduct rapid validation and source vetting to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting under tight timelines.
- Draft and deliver verbal briefings to the client and internal stakeholders as required.
- Perform quality control and editorial review of peer and junior analyst outputs, ensuring clarity, consistency, and adherence to analytical standards.
- Maintain awareness of regional developments to anticipate potential near-term disruptions and support operational planning.
- Collaborate across a globally distributed team to ensure seamless intelligence coverage across shifts and regions.
- Identify gaps in monitoring, coverage, or tooling and recommend improvements to enhance real-time intelligence capabilities.
- Support onboarding and mentoring of junior analysts in tactical tradecraft, monitoring techniques, and production standards.
- Perform other operational or programmatic duties as required in a global intelligence environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

- 4–8 years of experience in intelligence analysis within a private sector, government, or security operations environment, with a focus on tactical or current intelligence.
- Bachelor’s degree in intelligence, national security, geopolitics, journalism, security studies, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience producing time-sensitive intelligence reporting (e.g., alerts, situation reports, incident briefs) in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of all stages of the Intelligence Cycle.
- Strong proficiency in OSINT collection, monitoring tools, and rapid source evaluation.
- Experience supporting or operating within a 24/7 intelligence, threat monitoring and GSOC, or crisis response environment preferred.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex developments into clear, concise, and actionable intelligence.
- Experience with analytical review, editing,



and providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively across time zones and functions.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple incidents simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shift-based schedules, and maintain performance in a high-tempo operational setting.
- Integrity, discretion, and commitment to ethical intelligence practice.
- Good knowledge of AI systems, limitations, capabilities, and appropriate ethical use.

Other Requirements

- Eligible to legally work and reside in India.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Successful completion of background and credential screening where legally allowed.
- Availability to support after-hours operations‑ and international travel as needed.
- Successfully complete all ERI training, mentorship, and other ERI initiatives as appropriate.
- Regularly attend ERI Global Team Meetings, webinars and engage with other ERI analysts.

Location & Remuneration

Location: Hyderabad, India. This is a onsite, in office role.

Hours: This is a full time, 40 hours a week Weekend Shift Coverage role. Schedule will always require working weekends, most likely Thursday-Monday or Friday-Tuesday shifts. Successful candidates will need to be flexible to suit client tactical coverage needs including occasional availability outside business hours required, including 24/7 crisis response capability.

Compensation: Compensation commensurate with experience and role scope. Includes career development and access to ERI’s proprietary training and analytic tools.
