We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled SolidWorks Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the construction or fabrication industry. This role involves creating detailed 3D models and shop drawings for construction components such as structural steel, cladding systems, modular units, or architectural metalwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D fabrication/shop drawings using SolidWorks
- Prepare BOMs and manufacturing documentation to support fabrication and assembly.
- Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and site engineers to ensure constructability.
- Incorporate feedback from fabrication teams and site conditions into updated designs.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of skilled experience in SolidWorks design.
- Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
