About Purna Vidya
Purna Vidya Publications is a cultural mission — a carefully curated body of work that presents India’s Vedic heritage and cultural legacy with authenticity, depth, and relevance for a recent generation of learners. Born from the vision of Swamini Pramananda (Ammaji), the publications are the literary backbone of the Purna Vidya Foundation’s global mission to preserve and transmit Sanatana Dharma through education, experience, and daily practice.
The organization is entering an exciting phase: reimagining how its content is developed, presented, and delivered — including through new AI-supported tools — while staying true to the tradition it serves.
The Role
We are looking for a capable, organized, and culturally sensitive Content & Program Coordinator to work closely with Ms. Shashikala ji, who leads content and new ideas alongside Ammaji and the team. This person will help translate vision into execution — supporting content development while coordinating the several cross-functional teams that bring Purna Vidya’s work to life across content, technology, coordination, and audit.
This is a pivotal, hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the substance of content and the discipline of getting things done — keeping people, ideas, and timelines moving together across three cities. More than a job, it is an opportunity to help preserve and share India’s cultural heritage with the next generation.
How the Team is Organized
- Ms. Shashikala ji leads content and new ideas,
working closely with Ammaji and the team on how to present Purna Vidya’s content. Based in Chennai. (This role reports to her.)
- Ammaji provides the overall vision. Based in Coimbatore, with Bala ji.
- Amrit and Ramana Prasad ji leads Shashikala ji and the overall execution of Ammaji’s vision. Based in Chennai.
- Annapurna — the tech team (Vinod’s team, Dotweb Ideas LLP) supports Purna Vidya with AI-related work. Based in Hyderabad.
- Lalitha ji — Purna Vidya auditor. Based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
Content support
- Work alongside Shashikala ji to develop, structure, and refine content and new ideas for how Purna Vidya’s material is presented.
- Research, draft, review, and organize content while preserving the authenticity and depth of the tradition.
- Maintain content calendars, drafts, and version control so nothing is lost and everyone works from the latest material.
Cross-functional coordination
- Act as the connective link between the content team, the tech/AI team (Annapurna), and the audit function — across Chennai, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad.
- Translate content needs into clear briefs for the tech team, and bring their capabilities back into the content process.
- Run regular check-ins, track action items, and keep all teams aligned on priorities and dependencies.
Program execution
- Own timelines, milestones, and follow-through for content and program initiatives.
- Anticipate blockers, escalate early to Shashikala ji and Ramana Prasad ji,
and keep work on schedule.
- Prepare concise updates and summaries for leadership, and support coordination around reviews and audit.
Who We’re Looking For
- Spiritually inclined, and a genuine believer in presenting India’s timeless wisdom meaningfully to the younger generation.
- A strong communicator and organizer who can hold many threads together calmly and reliably.
- Comfortable working with content — able to read, write, structure, and improve material with care and clarity.
- Experience coordinating across teams or managing projects; a project-management or editorial background is a plus.
- Culturally sensitive and genuinely interested in India’s heritage, dharma, and value-based education.
- Self-directed and comfortable in a fluid, evolving environment where roles and priorities are still taking shape.
- Chennai is preferred for closer coordination with the core team, though exceptional candidates from elsewhere in India are also welcome. Able to coordinate programs and people across Chennai, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad.
- Fluent in English; familiarity with Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, or Sanskrit is an advantage.
Why Join
This is a rare chance to help shape how India’s timeless wisdom reaches the next generation — working directly with an inspiring team, close to Ammaji’s vision, and at the intersection of traditional content and modern, AI-supported delivery. This is not just a job, but an opportunity to contribute to preserving and sharing India’s cultural heritage.
