Job Overview

As a Steward / F&B; Service Associate, you are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to guests. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders accurately, serve food and beverages efficiently, and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining floor. Your attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and prompt service directly impact guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties1. Guest Service & Table Operations

- Greeting & Seating: Welcoming guests warmly upon arrival, guiding them to their tables, and presenting food and beverage menus.
- Order Taking: Explaining menu items, answering dietary or preparation questions, offering recommendations, and accurately writing down or inputting orders into the POS system.
- Food & Beverage Service: Serving food and drinks promptly according to proper dining standards and maintaining correct table layouts.
- Table Maintenance: Pre-clearing empty dishes, replenishing water glasses, clearing tables promptly after guests leave, and setting up tables for the next seatings.

2. Side Work & Station Readiness

- Mise-en-place: Assisting with pre-shift preparation, including polishing cutlery, glassware, folding napkins, and stocking side stations.
- Cleanliness: Ensuring the dining area, service stations, and table setups remain clean, organized, and inviting throughout operating hours.

Guest Satisfaction & Communication

- Guest Attention: Checking on guests during their meal to ensure food quality and satisfaction.
- Handling Feedback: Addressing minor guest requests or concerns promptly and escalating serious feedback to the Shift Supervisor or Manager.
- Team Coordination: Working closely with the kitchen and bar team to ensure orders are served hot, fresh, and without delay.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma, or a Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality (preferred).
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a restaurant, hotel, bar, or banquet setup. Freshers with positive communication skills are welcome.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of POS software operations (e.g., Petpooja, IDS, Posist, or similar).
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of food hygiene, food presentation, and beverage service etiquette.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and peak festival/holiday periods.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
