Job Description – Academic Counsellor / Senior Academic Counsellor

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor / Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs. Candidates with experience in counselling for UG, PG, or other higher education programs will be preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and the ability to convert student enquiries into successful admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding Undergraduate (UG), and Postgraduate (PG) programs, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.
- Understand students' educational background and career aspirations to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle the complete admission process, from enquiry generation to enrolment.
- Conduct counselling sessions via phone, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with admissions and academic teams for a seamless admission process.
- Participate in admission drives, education fairs, seminars, webinars,



and outreach activities.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Stay updated on program offerings, admission policies, and industry trends.

Eligibility Criteria

- Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 11 months of experience in academic counselling, admissions counselling, or educational sales.
- Experience in counselling students for UG, PG, or higher education programs is preferred.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
