Key Responsibilities:

Plastic Product design is must

Design and develop automotive seating components using CATIA V5

Design seat systems such as:

Complete Seat

Seat Structure

Seat Frame

Seat Cushion

Seat Back

Headrest

Armrest

Recliner

Seat Track (Slider)

Performed packaging and kinematics to validate seating design feasibility and ergonomics.

Applied GD&T; and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure dimensional accuracy with engineering standards.

Ensured FMVSS and ECE regulatory compliance, integrating safety requirements into seating structures.

Created and maintained complexity reports to evaluate seating components design, identifying potential risks in manufacturability and assembly.

Developed innovative seating concepts combining lightweight construction, durability, and safety standards.

Participated in internal and external design reviews, presenting concepts and addressing technical queries.

Developed and managed assembly sequences and structures, ensuring compliance with design standards and ease of manufacturing.





Collaborated with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing departments to ensure design feasibility and compliance.

Prepared proposals as per customer direction, aligning design deliverables with client expectations and ensuring stakeholder approval.

Performed DFMEA and design validation activities for automotive components.

Prepared customer proposals, aligning deliverables with client expectations and securing stakeholder approval.

Engaged in continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing design processes and enhancing product reliability.

Skilled in seating structure design, including sheet metal brackets, recliner mounting brackets, back frame tube structures, cushion pan and back frame wires, seat mounting brackets, metal levers, and stopper brackets.
