Admission Counsellor – Online Education

Location: NIBM, Pune

Experience: 3–7 Years (Minimum 3 years of experience in Online Degree / Distance Education Counselling is mandatory)

Salary: Up to ₹9.5 LPA (Based on Experience & Performance)

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Admissions

- Counsel prospective students on Online Degree, Online MBA, Executive Education, and Open & Distance Learning (ODL) programs.
- Understand students' academic background, career aspirations, and learning requirements.
- Recommend suitable programs and guide students through the admission process.
- Deliver professional, consultative counselling to build trust and ensure an exceptional student experience.

Lead Management & Conversion

- Manage inbound and outbound enquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM.
- Conduct timely follow-ups and nurture leads throughout the admission journey.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions while achieving monthly targets.
- Ensure prompt responses and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and working professionals.
- Address student queries with professionalism and empathy.
- Deliver a seamless counselling experience to enhance student satisfaction and retention.

CRM & Reporting

- Maintain accurate student records and counselling updates in the CRM.
- Track leads, follow-ups, admissions, and revenue.
- Prepare regular reports on admissions, conversion rates, and counselling performance.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with admissions, academics, and operations teams to ensure a smooth enrolment process.
- Share market feedback and student insights with internal teams to support business growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in counselling for Online Degree, Online MBA, or Open & Distance Learning (ODL) programs.




- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong counselling, consultative selling, and relationship management abilities.
- Proven experience in lead conversion and admission target achievement.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
