We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Operation Theatre (OT) Technician to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing the operation theatre, assisting surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures, maintaining OT equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operation theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Sterilize and arrange surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgeries.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of OT equipment.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control standards at all times.
- Handle, clean, and store surgical instruments after procedures.
- Monitor inventory of OT supplies and report shortages.
- Assist in patient positioning and safe transfer before and after surgery.
- Maintain accurate records related to OT procedures and equipment.
Eligibility
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a related allied health science course.
- Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates with 1–3 years of OT experience in a hospital will be preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization procedures, and OT protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency surgical cases.
