Role Overview

- Job Title: Speech Therapist
- Locations: Ahmedabad Head Office
- Contract: Part-time or Full time, renewable two-year contract (includes 6-month probation)
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Off on 2nd and 4th Saturdays)
- Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications, competitive with sector standards

Key Responsibilities

- Assessment & Planning: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments tailored for individuals with Db/MD and develop individualized therapy programs.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Deliver specialized programs using tactile signing, AAC devices, object cues, and sensory communication strategies.
- Integrated Care: Collaborate with special educators and families to integrate communication goals into daily routines and vocational programs.
- Home Support: Visit homes as needed to provide therapy and suggest necessary environment adaptations.
- Training & Education: Facilitate workshops and training for caregivers, families, and professionals on effective communication methods.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports,



and success stories.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Certification: Valid National or State license to practice speech therapy.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of recent work experience, including experience with neuro-communication and neuro-speech disorders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Safeguarding: Commitment to Sense India’s safeguarding and child protection policies.

Pay: ₹13,961.24 - ₹47,310.61 per month
