Role Description The Fabrication Supervisor is a full time, on-site role based in Bhilai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the shop floor. This role includes planning and coordinating fabrication activities, assigning tasks to fabrication teams, and monitoring progress to meet production targets and project timelines. The supervisor ensures adherence to quality standards, welding procedures, and safety protocols, while resolving operational issues and maintaining discipline within the team.

The role also involves inspecting fabricated components,



coordinating with engineering and project teams, managing material usage, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The Fabrication

Supervisor provides on-the-job training, mentors team members, and helps build a productive work environment aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, shift management, and coordination of fabrication crews.

Candidates should possess skills in quality control, with experience in inspections, adherence to fabrication standards, and documentation of quality checks.

Candidates should possess production planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress against targets.

Candidates should possess welding-related skills, with practical understanding of welding processes, procedures, and safety requirements.

Candidates should possess training skills, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop fabrication and welding personnel.

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience in steel fabrication, heavy structures, or industrial projects is highly beneficial.

Working knowledge of fabrication drawings, basic measurements, and shop-floor safety standards is required.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
