Fabric Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities

1. Supervise Production

- Monitor daily fabric production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved on time.
- Coordinate with weaving, knitting, dyeing, or finishing departments.

1. Maintain Quality Standards

- Inspect fabric for defects such as stains, holes, color variation, and weaving faults.
- Ensure products meet customer and company quality requirements.
- Work with the quality control team to resolve issues.

1. Manage Workers

- Assign daily tasks to operators and helpers.
- Train new employees on work procedures and safety practices.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.

1. Inventory Control

- Track fabric stock, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate with the warehouse for material movement.

1. Machine and Equipment Monitoring

- Ensure machines are operating efficiently.
- Report maintenance requirements and coordinate repairs.
- Minimize machine downtime.

1. Safety and Compliance

- Enforce workplace safety rules and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).




- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work workplace.

1. Production Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Record production output, waste, downtime, and quality issues.
- Report progress and challenges to management.

1. Problem Solving

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Resolve worker concerns and production-related issues quickly.
- Coordinate with maintenance, planning, and quality teams.

1. Customer and Delivery Coordination

- Ensure production schedules meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Support urgent orders and prioritize production when required.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of fabric manufacturing processes (weaving, knitting, dyeing, and finishing)
- Leadership and team management
- Quality inspection and defect identification
