Role Description The Event Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events from initial concept through completion. The role includes meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing proposals and budgets, and creating detailed event timelines and checklists.

Day-to-day tasks involve coordinating with vendors and venues, managing logistics such as setup, AV, catering, and décor, and ensuring all services are delivered as agreed.

The Event

Manager will supervise on-site operations, lead event staff, address issues in real time, and maintain clear communication with clients before, during,



and after events. The role also involves post-event analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of processes to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, and on-site management for corporate or social events.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple events and deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proven capability in budgeting, cost control, and basic contract negotiation.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure during live events.
- Proficiency with common office software and event management tools or calendars.
- Ability to work extended hours, evenings, and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in the local Ahmedabad market, including vendor and venue networks, is an advantage.
