EUC SME / Architect (End User Computing)

Location: Malad, Mumbai (Hybrid 3 days/week from Travelex Mumbai Office)

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced EUC SME / Architect to lead the strategy, architecture, governance, and design of the organization's End User Computing (EUC) landscape.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership across workplace technologies, ensuring solutions align with Cloud First and Zero Trust principles. You will define enterprise standards, influence technology direction, support business transformation initiatives, and work closely with global architecture, engineering, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric workplace solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

- Provide technical leadership for the design and architecture of End User Computing services, including:

- Endpoint devices

- Endpoint management
- Identity & Access Management

- Microsoft Collaboration tools

- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

- Application delivery

- Endpoint security
- Own and maintain enterprise EUC reference architectures, standards, design patterns, lifecycle roadmaps, and architectural guardrails.
- Define governance standards to ensure all EUC deployments comply with enterprise architecture, security controls, support models, and operational standards.
- Drive alignment with Cloud First strategy, Modern Workplace initiatives, and enterprise security frameworks.
- Provide architecture guidance, consultancy, mentoring, and technical direction to engineering and operational teams.
- Review and approve solution designs for enterprise-wide EUC initiatives.

Technology & Innovation
- Evaluate, pilot, and introduce emerging EUC technologies that improve user experience, resilience, operational efficiency, and security.
- Identify automation opportunities across:

- Device provisioning

- Compliance management

- Application deployment

- Endpoint remediation

- Reporting




- Partner with key technology vendors and manage strategic supplier relationships.
- Review vendor roadmaps and recommend future technology adoption.

Operations & Governance
- Support high-priority incidents and provide architectural guidance during major escalations while ensuring SLA adherence.
- Ensure EUC services are centrally monitored using standard enterprise monitoring tools.
- Work closely with global support teams to ensure consistent service delivery across regions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of EUC services, standards, and operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential Technical Skills

- Strong experience designing and supporting Enterprise End User Computing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity environments.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 including:

- Exchange Online

- Microsoft Teams

- SharePoint Online

- OneDrive
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security technologies including:

- Conditional Access

- BitLocker

- Compliance Policies
- Experience managing Windows 10/11 environments, including large-scale Windows 11 migration projects.
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and/or AWS WorkSpaces.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft licensing models.
- Good knowledge of enterprise IT security, governance, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with both hardware and software solutions in enterprise workplace environments.
- Strong focus on delivering an exceptional end-user experience.

Preferred Skills
- PowerShell scripting and automation.




- Experience with Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) tools.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) across iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience integrating EUC platforms with Identity Governance solutions.
- Experience with Okta.
- Knowledge of Ivanti EPM and Ivanti Neurons.
- Microsoft Certifications.
- TOGAF Certification.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT leadership, architects, engineering, and operations teams.
- Collaborate with global architecture and support teams to deliver consistent solutions across regions.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on architecture initiatives and technology roadmaps.
- Mentor junior engineers and architects while promoting knowledge sharing across teams.
- Work effectively within a globally distributed technology organisation.

Communication
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, solution designs, and architectural standards.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Present architecture recommendations and technology opportunities to global audiences.
- Lead knowledge transfer sessions and technical workshops.
