Experience analyzing the mapping spec and understanding the transformation rules.

Experience in building complex SQL queries based on business rules

Excellent understanding of data flows and loading pattern.

Possessing robust analytical skills

Good knowledge of DW fundamentals & concepts

Experience in validating the data in various sources like Flat Files, Database (oracle, SQL server), Mainframe files.

Batch Job Execution and Validation

Good knowledge in analyzing the discrepancies and finding the root causes.

Experience in Agile, Jira and Octane

Experience or Knowledge in Informatica Workflows

Good in Unix Basic comments

Exposure in API Testing

Good knowledge of Automation using any of the tools to lean and work in ETL Test automation

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Interacting with Data Modelling team and understanding the requirements.

2 Understanding the transformation rules and preparing the SQL queries.

3 Prepare the testcases and performing the test execution

4 Identifying the data discrepancies and sharing the root cause to Dev team

5 Checking data quality using business scenarios

6 Preparing the test results and attaching in Octane and Jira stories/Subtask

7 Good exposure in E2E testing and stakeholder communication

8 Participating in Agile ceremonies

9 Preparing Test Plan and Test completion report
