:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. UI / UX Architect to lead the user experience strategy and interface design for the modernization and complete rewrite of our legacy enterprise systems.

This role operates at the intersection of Product, Architecture, and Engineering, ensuring that business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints are translated into intuitive, scalable, and high-performing user experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Solutions Architects, and Engineering to define end-to-end experiences, establish a scalable design system, and modernize complex enterprise workflows.

UX Strategy &

- Modernization Leadership :
- Lead UX strategy for full platform modernization and legacy system rewrite initiatives
- Analyze current workflows and identify usability gaps, inefficiencies, and UX debt
- Redesign complex enterprise user journeys, including transactional workflows, dashboards, and reporting systems
- Define UX principles aligned with scalability, accessibility, and maintainability

Design System &

- Front-End Governance :
- Define and govern a scalable enterprise design system for React-based applications
- Establish reusable UI components aligned with accessibility, responsive design, and performance standards
- Create standards for navigation models, forms, validation patterns, and high-density data grids

Collaboration with Architecture &

- Engineering :
- Partner with Senior Solutions Architects to align UX with system architecture and API design
- Work directly with Senior Full Stack Developers to translate designs into production-ready components




- Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure alignment with product vision and priorities

Product Partnership &

Experience Strategy :

- Partner closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements into user-centered solutions
- Contribute to product strategy, roadmap planning, and feature prioritization from a UX perspective
- Advocate for end users in product and engineering discussions

User Research &

- Validation :
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workflow discovery sessions
- Lead usability testing and iterative validation cycles
- Develop personas, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes

Skills &

Requirements :

Mandatory UX &

- Technical Expertise :
- 10 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, focused on enterprise-scale web applications
- Proven experience leading UX for full platform modernization or legacy system rewrite initiatives
- Deep expertise in designing React-based, component-driven front-end architectures
- Demonstrated experience building and governing enterprise design systems (design tokens, component libraries)
- Advanced knowledge of interaction design for complex, data-intensive systems (dashboards, workflows, data grids)
- Strong understanding of information architecture for large, role-based enterprise platforms




- Deep expertise in accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher)
- Proven ability to design responsive and adaptive experiences
- Solid proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent tools
- Experience working closely with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation fidelity

Product &

- Cross-Functional Expertise :
- Proven experience partnering with Product Management to translate requirements into user-centered solutions
- Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle (discovery, definition, delivery, iteration)
- Experience working in agile environments, including sprint planning and backlog grooming
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints

Data, Performance &

- Enterprise UX Considerations :
- Experience designing for high-volume transactional systems
- Understanding of how UX impacts performance and responsiveness
- Experience designing interfaces that interact with APIs and distributed systems

Preferred Technical Familiarity :

- Working knowledge of React component architecture and state management
- Familiarity with .NET / ASP.NET Core and Node.js ecosystems
- Experience working in CI/CD-driven environments
- Exposure to AI-assisted UX patterns

Experience :

- 10 years of experience in enterprise UI/UX design roles
- Demonstrated success in modernizing complex legacy systems
- Experience working in highly technical, cross-functional environments

Education :

- Bachelors degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Masters degree preferred
- Equivalent experience may be considered
