Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Estimation Engineer role based in Mumbai.

The Estimation

Engineer will prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out and related projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Responsibilities include quantity take-offs, soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotations, and compiling comprehensive bid proposals in coordination with project and commercial teams. The role also involves updating cost databases, reviewing project budgets, supporting value engineering options,



and ensuring estimates align with technical requirements and company standards.

The Estimation

Engineer will collaborate closely with design, procurement, and project management teams to support timely, competitive, and accurate submissions.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and understanding of interior fit-out or construction drawings.
- Proficiency in relevant estimation and office software (e.g., MS Excel, estimation tools, CAD viewers) and comfort with digital documentation.
- Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) or Quantity Surveying; skilled certifications in estimation or cost control are an advantage.
- Prior experience in estimation for interiors, fit-out, or construction projects, ideally within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adhere to organizational and client standards.
