: Equity Research Analyst

We are a Family Office and Boutique Investment Advisory firm dedicated to managing capital through rigorous bottom-up research and long-term value creation. This is a foundational role offering direct exposure to public market investing, close mentorship from the firm's principal investment leaders, and significant room for growth opportunities.

- Position: Equity Research Analyst
- Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with strong financial acumen and high drive are welcome)
- Location: On-site (Andheri West, Mumbai)
- Compensation: ₹2,00,000 – ₹2,50,000 Per Annum

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join our close-knit investment team. This is an ideal role for someone looking to bypass institutional bureaucracy and kickstart a high-exposure career in core equity research and portfolio management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

· Financial Modelling & Data Management: Input and update historical financial data into proprietary models; maintain estimates, charts, dashboards, and supporting investment collateral.

· Financial Statement Analysis: Deeply analyze corporate financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and quarterly earnings releases across multiple sectors.

· Valuation & Benchmarking: Assist in conducting valuation analysis using methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), relative valuation, and scenario analysis against industry benchmarks.

· Research & Reporting: Draft comprehensive investment reports, company notes, and sector updates to support actionable investment recommendations.

· Market Tracking: Actively monitor macro developments,



regulatory changes, and corporate actions/news flow affecting portfolio and watchlist companies.

· Primary Research & Networking: Assist in establishing and maintaining professional channels with industry experts, management teams, and supply chain channels.

· Corporate Events: Attend earnings calls, broker conferences, and corporate events to gather ground-level insights.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

· Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or Business (B.Com, BAF, BBA, MBA Finance). Progress toward professional certifications like CFA (Level 1 or 2) or Semi-Qualified CA is highly preferred.

· Technical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance ratios.

· Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced formulas, data formatting) and MS Word. Prior exposure to financial databases like Ace Equity, Bloomberg, or Reuters is an advantage but not mandatory.

· Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate numbers into logical narratives.

· Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; a high degree of curiosity about stock markets and business models.
