Position - Equity Research Analyst

Location - Pune

Industry: Capital Markets, and Banking

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

- Understanding business drivers and identifying investment opportunities
- Monitoring existing investments and updating model and reports basis results and other material events
- The candidate should be interested in reading annual reports and all relevant literature to gain an in-depth understanding of business
- The candidate should be aware of accounting standards and should have ability to differentiate aggressive vis-à-vis conservative accounting practices
- The candidate should be able to ‘read’ financial statements to make necessary analytical adjustments
- Proficient in ratio analysis

Required Education,



Skill Set & Knowledge

- CA/ CFA Level 3
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of all concepts relevant to a buy side equity research analyst profile - financial analysis, economics, accounting, business, etc
- Familiarity with financial databases like Bloomberg and Capitoline would be an added advantage
- Positive go-getter attitude
- Research-oriented aptitude towards long-term capital appreciation
- Hardworking and eye for detail
