Job Title: Environmental Engineer Water & Wastewater Treatment

Location: Surat Experience: 1 - 5 Years

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Environmental Engineer with expertise in municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. The candidate will be responsible for leading process design activities, reviewing engineering deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring successful execution of water infrastructure projects including STP, WTP, ETP, tertiary treatment, and desalination systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead process design and engineering activities for municipal water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Preparation and review of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID;), Hydraulic Flow Diagrams (HFD), and process calculations.
- Perform and review mass balance, hydraulic calculations, head loss calculations, and process sizing as per CPHEEO guidelines and applicable standards.
- Preparation and review of Design Basis Reports (DBR), technical specifications, datasheets, BOQ, and Detailed Project Reports (DPR).
- Design and optimize treatment systems for WTP, STP, ETP, tertiary treatment, recycle systems, and desalination plants.
- Review GA drawings,



plant layouts, and engineering deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, design reviews, and presentations.
- Support proposal preparation, tender documentation, and technical bid evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.

Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of municipal water and wastewater treatment processes
- Expertise in tertiary treatment and desalination technologies such as UF, RO, MBR, MEE, etc.
- Solid understanding of CPHEEO guidelines, environmental norms, and regulatory standards
- Experience in hydraulic design, process optimization, and engineering calculations

Qualifications:
- M.E./M.Tech in Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment projects
- Experience in design and execution support for STP, WTP, ETP, tertiary treatment, and desalination plants
- Experience in municipal infrastructure projects will be preferred

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
