: Endpoint Engineer

Position Overview

As an Endpoint Engineer, you are responsible for the architecture, design, development, and support of the Desktop Endpoint Infrastructure utilizing tools such as Intune, BeyondTrust, PatchMyPC and other cloud tools across the Express Global Infrastructure all to ensure high availability of Express virtual and physical desktop environment for it’s franchises and corporate devices.

This role is critical in ensuring the seamless deployment, management, and security of our endpoint devices across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provides input on design and standards for endpoint management solutions.
- Collaborates with architects to develop and refine architectural design documentation and standards.
- Ensures adherence to best practices and industry standards in endpoint management.
- Implements solutions based on architectural design documentation and standards.
- Management of Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and 3rd Party patching solutions.
- Ensures seamless integration of endpoint management solutions with existing IT infrastructure.
- Assists architects in evaluating solutions based on captured business requirements.
- Provides feedback on updates that need to be performed on design documentation.




- Participates in the continuous improvement of endpoint management processes and solutions.
- Manages the technical aspects of projects with input from the team and requires very little escalation assistance.
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Maintains thorough documentation of project activities and outcomes.
- Assists administrators with system upgrades and patches for endpoint devices.
- Provides escalation support for associated technologies, including Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Patch My PC.
- Monitors and resolves issues related to endpoint management solutions in a timely manner.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field, or 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in endpoint management of at least 10,000 endpoints, with a focus on Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Patch My PC.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience in designing and implementing endpoint management solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and configuration tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge in automation and zero-touch deployment models
- Has a proactive vs reactive mindset

Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or similar.
- Tanium or similar technology certified
- Experience with additional endpoint management tools and technologies.
