- Strong expertise in end-to-end system architecture, covering Hardware, Firmware, and Software design for embedded products.

- Experience in system partitioning, interface definition, architecture reviews, and technical governance across complex engineering programs.

- Deep understanding of MCU/SoC architectures including ARM Cortex-M, Cortex-A, Cortex-R, DSP platforms, RTOS, BSPs, bootloaders, device drivers, and Embedded Linux.

- Proficiency in defining and implementing Layered, Service-Oriented (SOA), and HAL-based architectures with focus on modularity, scalability, and maintainability.

- Strong hands-on development experience in Embedded C, C++, Python, and Shell scripting, including legacy code analysis and refactoring.

- Expertise in build systems and toolchains such as Make, CMake, Yocto, Buildroot, cross-compilation environments, debugging tools, and release management.

- Extensive experience with IBM Rational ClearCase, Git, and GitHub Enterprise, including repository architecture, branching strategies, tagging, and governance.

- Proven track record of migrating VOBs, branches, labels, baselines, and historical revisions from ClearCase to Git/GitHub while maintaining traceability.

- Ability to analyze large legacy embedded and firmware codebases, perform dependency mapping, repository consolidation, migration planning, validation, and risk mitigation.

- Robust knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and automated migration/validation frameworks.

- Experience in SCM governance, configuration management, release baselining, version control compliance, and auditability.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills to collaborate with engineering, firmware, product, release, and configuration management teams.

- Capable of driving Git adoption, engineering transformation, best practices, and developer training across large organizations.

- Preferred profile:



12+ years of embedded systems experience, including architecture leadership and at least one successful ClearCase-to-Git migration program.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Solution Architecture:

- Design and develop scalable embedded systems solutions, ensuring they meet technical and functional requirements.

- Create architectural blueprints for migration processes related to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems.

1. System Integration:

- Oversee the integration of embedded systems with existing SCM applications and ensure seamless data flow and communication between platforms.

- Address potential issues and optimize system interoperability.

1. Technical Leadership:

- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of embedded solutions and SCM migration projects.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and developers on best practices in embedded systems and SCM integration.

1. Requirements Analysis:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements for embedded systems and SCM solutions.

- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to support migration strategies.

1. Documentation:

- Create comprehensive technical documentation for architecture designs, integration processes, and migration methodologies.

- Maintain up-to-date system specifications and user manuals.

1. Project Management:

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for embedded systems and SCM migration projects.





- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report on outcomes to stakeholders and senior management.

1. Testing and Validation:

- Oversee the testing and validation of embedded systems and ensure that migrated SCM applications meet performance and reliability criteria.

- Develop and execute test plans, and facilitate user acceptance testing.

1. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in embedded systems architecture and SCM processes.

- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform future system enhancements.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other technical teams to ensure alignment between system designs and business goals.

- Facilitate meetings and workshops for effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

1. Compliance and Security:

- Ensure that all embedded systems and SCM solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.

- Implement and monitor best practices for data protection and system security.

1. Performance Monitoring:

- Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance and efficiency of embedded systems and SCM applications.

- Conduct regular reviews and propose optimizations based on performance data.

1. Vendor Management:

- Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers involved in embedded systems and SCM projects.

- Negotiate contracts and ensure deliverables meet project specifications and timelines.
