About the Role
Meet Studio LLP is looking for an Electrical Designer to join our growing team. As a member of the Meet Studio team, you will work directly with U.S.-based engineers, participating in design reviews, engineering and design work, and client meetings as needed.
You will contribute to the design and documentation of electrical systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, educational, mixed-use, and other building projects throughout the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Documentation
- Design electrical building systems from concept through construction documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Prepare electrical plans, schematics, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, load calculations, and construction documents.
- Develop power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and low-voltage system layouts.
- Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, client standards, and project requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings with U.S.-based engineering teams.
- Research applicable codes, products, and materials to support project design.
- Produce accurate and high-quality drawings and BIM models using industry-standard software.
- Perform daily drafting and modeling in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical building systems design.
- Experience designing power distribution, lighting, grounding, emergency power, and low-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with electrical load calculations, panel schedules, voltage drop calculations, and equipment sizing.
- Experience preparing electrical construction drawings, specifications, and related documentation.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of U.S. electrical design practices and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards including NEC, NFPA, IBC, IECC, and energy codes.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under remote guidance from senior U.S. engineering staff.
- Willingness to engage in 30 min-3 hr of evening overlap for U.S. collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on U.S. projects.
- Experience with generator, UPS, and emergency power system design.
- Familiarity with photometric lighting calculations and related software.
- Experience in BIM coordination environments.
Hours & Commitment Core Hours: Monday-Friday, 10 AM-5 PM IST (on-site).
Evening Collaboration: Up to two to three hours in the evening, as needed for real-time coordination with U.S. teams.
Salary
We're proud to offer a highly competitive compensation package that surpasses industry averages, with annual salaries from ₹6,00,000 to ₹20,00,000 INR**, commensurate with experience.

- This is a full‑time position. You will be employed and paid by Meet Studio LLP, payroll, benefits, and HR matters are managed by Meet Studio LLP. You will be working directly with a US based team on a daily basis.
