- Maintain and troubleshoot HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, PCC/MCC panels, DG sets, UPS, VFDs, and power distribution systems.

- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.

- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance plans in coordination with production to ensure smooth plant operations.

- Manage electrical spare parts inventory, maintain optimum stock levels, and ensure timely procurement of critical spares to avoid maintenance delays.

- Maintain accurate records of spare consumption, inventory, equipment history, and maintenance documentation.

- Supervise and manage electricians, technicians, and contract manpower, including work allocation, shift planning, attendance, and performance monitoring.

- Ensure effective manpower utilization while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

- Execute electrical installation, modification, and commissioning projects, including cable laying, panel installation, and equipment commissioning.





- Monitor the performance of electrical equipment and implement reliability improvement and energy conservation initiatives.

- Maintain electrical utilities such as lighting systems, earthing, lightning protection, and emergency power systems.

- Coordinate calibration, testing, and maintenance of electrical protection systems and instruments.

- Ensure compliance with GMP, electrical safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company SOPs.

- Enforce permit-to-work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and other EHS practices during maintenance activities.

- Coordinate with Production, QA, Engineering, EHS, Purchase, Stores, and external vendors for maintenance planning and execution.

- Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing required technical documentation and ensuring compliance.

- Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and improve operational efficiency.
