We are looking for an experienced

Elasticsearch Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise-scale search solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Elasticsearch architecture, indexing strategies, custom mappings, query optimization, aggregations, and REST API integration. The candidate will work closely with application development teams to build high-performance, scalable search platforms capable of handling large volumes of indexed data.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters for production environments.

- Create and manage indices, mappings, analyzers, and document schemas based on business requirements.

- Develop and optimize search queries for high performance and low latency.

- Implement custom mappings and indexing strategies to improve search accuracy and efficiency.

- Design and implement aggregations for analytics, reporting, and search insights.

- Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot indexing/search issues, and optimize resource utilization.

- Integrate Elasticsearch with enterprise applications using

Java, Python, .NET, or similar technologies

.

- Develop and consume

RESTful APIs for search services.

- Perform data ingestion, indexing, and synchronization from multiple data sources.





- Handle large-scale datasets while ensuring high availability and scalability.

- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to deliver robust search solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.

Required Skills

- 3–6 years of software development experience with at least 2

+ years of hands-on Elasticsearch experience

- Strong understanding of Elasticsearch concepts including:

- Indices

- Documents

- Fields

- Shards & Replicas

- Mappings

- Analyzers

- Experience creating custom mappings and optimizing index structures.

- Robust experience with

Elasticsearch Query DSL

.

- Hands-on experience with

Aggregations

(Metrics, Bucket, Pipeline).

- Experience in query optimization and search performance tuning.

- Experience integrating Elasticsearch with applications using

Java, Python, .NET, Node.js, or similar technologies

.

- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch client libraries.

- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

- Experience indexing and managing millions of documents or large-scale datasets

- Familiarity with Elasticsearch cluster administration, monitoring, backup, and recovery.
