Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS laws, regulations, and company policies.

- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

- Prepare and implement Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA) for site activities.

- Conduct safety induction programs for recent employees and contractors.

- Organize daily toolbox talks before commencement of work.

- Monitor work permit systems (Hot Work, Height Work, Electrical Work, Confined Space, etc.).

- Ensure proper usage of PPE by all workers.

- Inspect scaffolding, ladders, lifting equipment, electrical tools, and machinery.

- Conduct emergency mock drills and maintain emergency preparedness.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and recommend corrective actions.

- Maintain statutory safety records, inspection reports, and EHS documentation.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and government authorities during safety inspections and audits.

- Monitor waste management and environmental compliance at project sites.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly EHS reports.





- Promote safety awareness campaigns and behavioral safety initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with fire safety requirements and emergency response procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Environmental Science.

- Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (Preferred).

- Certification in First Aid and Fire Safety is an added advantage.

Experience

- 2–5 years of EHS experience in commercial interior fit-out, construction, or infrastructure projects.

Key Skills

- Knowledge of EHS regulations and statutory compliance.

- Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA).

- Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.

- Safety Audits & Inspections.

- Fire Safety Management.

- Permit-to-Work (PTW) System.

- Emergency Response Planning.

- Excellent communication and reporting skills.

- MS Office proficiency
