We are looking for an experienced and visionary Editor-in-Chief to lead our news division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the editorial strategy, ensuring accurate and ethical journalism, managing newsroom operations, and delivering high-quality news content across digital and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the editorial team and oversee daily newsroom operations.
- Define and implement the editorial vision, content strategy, and publishing standards.
- Review, edit, and approve news stories before publication.
- Ensure all content is factual, balanced, legally compliant, and adheres to journalistic ethics.
- Assign stories to reporters, editors, and correspondents while monitoring deadlines.
- Develop breaking news coverage plans and supervise live reporting.
- Mentor and manage reporters, sub-editors, content writers, and bureau teams.
- Coordinate with digital, video, and social media teams to maximize audience engagement.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor coverage,



and audience insights to improve content performance.
- Handle sensitive stories, crisis communication, and editorial decisions with professionalism.
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, organizations, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with media laws, copyright regulations, and company editorial policies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience in journalism.
- Strong news judgment and excellent editing, writing, and proofreading skills.
- Deep understanding of current affairs, politics, business, and social issues.
- Experience managing newsrooms and leading editorial teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage breaking news situations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,018.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
