E-commerce Store Manager

Role Objective The E-commerce Store Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day order fulfillment operations by maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery. The role focuses on order processing, warehouse coordination, invoicing accuracy, dispatch management, return analysis, and logistics performance to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

- Monitor and accumulate all orders received from various e-commerce platforms on a daily basis.
- Ensure timely allocation of orders to the warehouse/packing team for processing.
- Track the complete order fulfillment cycle from order receipt to final dispatch.

Packaging & Quality Assurance

- Verify that every packed product exactly matches the customer's order in terms of SKU, model, quantity, color, and specifications.
- Ensure proper packaging standards are followed to prevent transit damage.
- Conduct random quality checks to maintain order accuracy and minimize dispatch errors.

Billing & Invoice Management

- Ensure invoices are generated accurately and on time for every order.
- Verify that invoice values, product details, discounts, and taxes exactly match the selling price and offers displayed on the website or marketplace.
- Eliminate billing discrepancies by maintaining strict invoice validation procedures.

Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

- Ensure all confirmed orders are dispatched on the same day whenever operationally feasible and within the committed service timelines.
- Coordinate daily with courier and logistics partners to ensure timely pickup of shipments.
- Monitor dispatch status and resolve any operational bottlenecks that may delay shipments.

Delivery & TAT Monitoring





- Continuously monitor courier performance against committed Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Proactively follow up with courier partners for shipments exceeding the committed TAT.
- Escalate delayed shipments and coordinate with logistics partners to expedite deliveries and improve customer satisfaction.

Returns & Reverse Logistics

- Monitor all product returns and maintain accurate return records.
- Analyze and document the reason for each return with proper supporting data.
- Verify returned products against the original order details and return requests.
- Prepare periodic reports on return trends and recommend corrective actions to reduce return rates.

Reporting & Process Control

- Maintain daily MIS reports covering orders, dispatches, pending shipments, deliveries, returns, cancellations, and TAT performance.
- Monitor key operational KPIs such as order accuracy, same-day dispatch percentage, return rate, delivery TAT, and courier performance.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate closely with the Sales, Warehouse, Accounts, Customer Support, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Work with courier partners and marketplace account managers to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Support management by providing timely operational updates and improvement recommendations.
