Sutherland Global Services is seeking a Senior Developer with 7+ years of experience in building secure, scalable, enterprise-grade web platforms. As a Senior Developer, you'll lead the technical build and ongoing enhancements of an existing platform, carrying the heavier lifting during the setup phase of the engagement and continuing into ongoing support post go-live. You'll lead architectural decisions in collaboration with the engagement team, handle the complex development tasks, mentor a Junior Developer, and collaborate with ML engineers, QA, and subject matter experts to deliver a production-grade system.

Your command of C# and ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SAML 2.0 federation, Azure services, and CI/CD will set the technical bar for the team.

Responsibilities

- Lead the technical design and implementation of complex backend features in C# and ASP.NET MVC with Entity Framework.
- Implement the authentication and session layer, including SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect federation with enterprise identity providers and role-based authorization across the platform.
- Design multi-tenant data isolation using global query filters and controller-layer access guards.
- Implement cryptographic signing and audit-trail infrastructure required for regulated workflows.
- Migrate the platform from developer-local databases to managed Azure SQL with geographic redundancy, and externalize secrets to Azure Key Vault.
- Stand up the CI/CD pipeline across development, test, UAT, and production environments using infrastructure-as-code and approval gates.




- Design and implement network isolation, TLS enforcement, and centralized log aggregation in line with enterprise compliance posture.
- Mentor the Junior Developer through code review, pairing, and architectural guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ML engineers, QA, and subject matter experts to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in the platform's tech stack and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience building production-grade web platforms in C# and ASP.NET MVC, with deep expertise in Entity Framework and OWIN.
- Proven experience implementing SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect federation against enterprise identity providers.
- Hands-on Azure experience covering Key Vault, Azure SQL, Front Door, Application Gateway with WAF, Virtual Network design, and Blob Storage.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
- Hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Experience designing multi-tenant data isolation in ORM-backed applications.
- Robust frontend competence in vanilla JavaScript single-page applications, Web Components, and HTML canvas libraries such as Fabric.js.
- Excellent communication and technical leadership skills with proven mentoring experience.
