We are building our in-house organic engine to drive high-intent financial leads, and we need a 100% hands-on SEO & Organic Growth Specialist who can independently own, write, optimize, and rank our website on Google.

Role Summary

If you prefer managing agencies or sitting in planning meetings, this role is not for you. We are a lean, rapid-paced fintech startup looking for an SEO All-Rounder who loves execution. You will be directly responsible for taking our website to top Google rankings in competitive UK financial markets. From technical audits and content creation to link outreach and E-E-A-T building, you will execute the end-to-end SEO flywheel yourself.

What You Will Do (Day-to-Day Execution)

- On-Page & Content Creation: Research keywords, outline, write, and publish high-converting landing pages, comparison guides, and financial content optimized for Googles E-E-A-T guidelines.
- Technical SEO: Perform site audits using Screaming Frog/Ahrefs; troubleshoot indexing, site structure, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and crawl budgets.
- Link Building & Digital PR: Actively build high-authority, ethical backlinks through publisher outreach, niche guest posting, and digital PR.
- Algorithm Adaptation: Monitor Google algorithm updates (Core updates,



Helpful Content, AI Overviews) and pivot page strategies quickly.
- Analytics & Conversion: Track rankings, organic traffic, and lead conversions using GA4 and Google Search Console to optimize funnel drop-offs.

What We Are Looking For

- 5-8 Years of Hands-on SEO Experience: You have a proven track record of directly ranking pages and generating leads in competitive industries (Finance, FinTech, Insurance, Loans, or similar high-competition niches).
- Strong Content Writing Capabilities: You can write clear, trustworthy, and engaging English content tailored for Western audiences (UK, US, or AU preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Deep working knowledge of Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, GSC, GA4, PageSpeed Insights, and Schema generators.
- Understanding of UK/US Search Landscapes: Familiarity with consumer search behavior in tier-1 markets.
- Startup Mindset: High ownership, self-driven, and excited to build an organic marketing machine from the ground up without waiting for third-party agencies.
