- Conducting education programs to the patients.
- Collecting medical history of the patients and necessary details.
- To educate the patients regarding insulin injection technique and home monitoring of the blood glucose and urine.
- To prescribe diet to the patients as per doctors order.
- To counsel the patients, analyze the dietary food in take, review the patient about the medication, diet and updating the details online.
- To check the tray setting in the kitchen before being sent to the ward patients.
- Initiation, education, downloading and uploading of CGMS such as Ambulatory Glucose Monitoring device.
- To educate the patient on diabetes screening and monitoring test / investigations.
- Anthropometric assessment – Height, Weight, Waist & Body Composition.
