About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and Terraform to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in building, automating, and managing the infrastructure that powers our advanced data and AI platforms. As a key contributor, you will focus on infrastructure-as-code practices, leveraging your expertise in Azure services and Terraform to ensure our data platforms are reliable, scalable, and secure.

Your primary responsibility will revolve around the Azure Databricks ecosystem, applying industry best practices to optimize platform performance and security. Acting as a bridge between our central DevOps team and data engineering groups, you will empower Data Engineers and Data Scientists by providing a stable, automated, and effective environment for their innovative work. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure management, automation, and data platform support.



The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or cloud infrastructure roles, with demonstrated expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure as code. Proficiency in Terraform is essential, along with hands-on experience managing core Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Entra ID, and Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2).

Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash are required for automation tasks. Familiarity with Azure Databricks, data engineering workflows, and platform operational lifecycle is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills, systematic troubleshooting abilities, and effective communication skills are critical for success.

Candidates should also demonstrate a cooperative mindset and a service-oriented approach to supporting cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Management: Utilize Terraform to provision, configure, and manage all aspects of Azure cloud infrastructure, including Virtual Networks, subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Microsoft Entra ID service principals, and ADLS Gen2 storage solutions.

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate testing, deployment, and integration of infrastructure and data engineering applications.

Platform Reliability & Automation: Automate administrative tasks, monitoring (via Azure Monitor), and operational workflows for the Azure Databricks platform. Implement cluster policies, instance pools, and cost management strategies to optimize platform performance and cost-efficiency.

Collaboration & Support: Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to understand their infrastructure needs, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure the platform's high availability and automation.





Security & Governance Implementation: Implement security controls, network configurations such as Private Endpoints, and identity management in collaboration with security teams. Automate data governance policies, including setup and management of Databricks Unity Catalog.

AI-Powered Operations: Leverage AI developer tools like GitHub Copilot and Databricks Assistant to accelerate scripting, generate Terraform modules, and troubleshoot complex configurations efficiently.
